Every once and awhile you run across a deal that truly has value.
In the 80’s I had a need for a new commuter car. Mitsubishi had just entered the US market and they were going up against the Honda Civic. Even though the Galant was a slightly bigger car and was priced lower than the Civic, there was that “I never heard of Mitsubishi” factor to consider. Because of that factor, I got a really great deal. Not only was it a great deal but I ended up with a car that went over 100,000 miles without a hitch. Now here comes Spartan Refrigeration. These refrigerators and freezers will stand up to the big boys with the same or better specifications and some features that you can’t even get with the more popular main line manufacturers. True-ly (pun intended) one of those value deals. Spartan Refrigeration offers great pricing for a great box. Our company Tables N Chairs, Inc. has enjoyed a relationship with JMC Imports for a number of years. We sell some of their outdoor table tops and aluminum table bases. Brian from JMC had asked me if we sold anything other than furniture. My response was that other than portable stages pretty much furniture is all that we sell. Why do you ask? I said. I learned firsthand of Ecolab’s dedication to professionalism and knowledge in any business they take on. So before I would go forward, I needed to veriffy the quality of Spartan without question. I put in a service call. I asked for the Equipment Care refrigeration specialist go to Brian’s warehouse and review at least 3 different boxes and evaluate the product based on two criteria. First the quality of construction and then second to review the parts and make sure that there were no specialized odd ball parts in the system. I needed to feel comfortable that if a unit went down we would not have to call Asia for replacement parts. The report that I got back was that there were “normal” parts that made up the refrigeration system. Actually the Equipment Care guy said “I have literally 90% of what I saw on my truck right now and Brian has hundreds of spare compressors on the shelf.” In regards to quality he said that “it was one of the nicest boxes in the industry especially for the price”. I was sold. I hope you are as well. This is truly one of those unique value deals. The product is backed by a 1 year complete parts and labor warranty and a 5 year compressor warranty. I have tried to put all of the available specifications clearly on the website. All I ask is that before you jump and buy one of the traditional brand units that you match our product spec by spec. Once you do that just ask yourself, why should I spend hundreds more for the traditional guys? One other thing Brian is doing is that he is allowing YOU to decide who in your local market will perform any warranty work. Brian feels that your faith in who services your equipment has value and instead of Brian picking the cheapest guy in town you would know better who has the best fit. Try that on Big Guys!
